Bonjour nos familles,
It is the time of year where we start to think about and plan for next year. We still have a lot of learning left to do but we want to be proactive about our start up. With that in mind we want to remind all families that we have teachers who will be returning in the 2024 – 2025 year from maternity leaves. Mme Chelsey Perry (Grade 1), Mme Kali Puhalski (PE), Mme Coralie Turbide (Grade 1), Mme Stephanie Briard (Grade 4) Mme Sabrina Littlejohn (Grade 3), Mme Josephine Chang (Music). When we hear their exact date of return, we will let families know this information. We understand that changing teachers at any time during a school year can cause anxiety for all. We want to assure you all that we will do our best to ensure that relationships are built, routines are followed and learning will continue as seamlessly as possible. Your input in this process matters to us and do not hesitate to call us with your concerns and comments.

Notes of thanks
We want to thank our community for raising over 4600$ for jump rope for heart. This is incredible and we had a lot of fun doing it too. We want to especially thank the Gerald’s, the McGhan’s, the Mercure’s and the Savard’s for their generous donations. We also want to thank all of the parents who volunteered at the Calgary Zoo this week and at Heritage Park last week. We realize you are taking time away from work and other activities and we really appreciate this. As one grade 1 student exclaimed upon returning “This was the best day of my life!” We
could not do these important and valuable excursions without you. We also want to thank you for attending School Council this month and sharing your thoughts on our processes, budget and need for volunteers. All minutes are posted on our website.
